The British pianist James Rhodes, apart from playing and contextualizing the pieces that he interprets, also tells on stage, between pieces of Bach, Chopin or Rachmaninoff, the story of his life and how music has helped him to overcome many obstacles he has found on his way.
His more recent book, Fire on all Sides, reviews one of his most important tours and tells his experiences, fears and emotional drifts in his everyday life, always surrounded by the music he loves so much.
Rhodes gives a very personal touch to each performance. And his performance in Palau de les Arts will, for sure, be magic, and will leave no one indifferent.
