EXTRAS “UN BALLO IN MASCHERA”
We need extras for the production of Giuseppe Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera, which Palau de les Arts will prepare during March-May 2024.
Extras are meant to recreate the atmosphere or the scene to contribute to make it more real. They are not meant to speak. Even though, extras may be asked to help to create noise, to shout or mutter.
We need / Roles:
- 1 woman, 40 to 55 years old, of very dark skin.
We are looking for versatile people in good shape, great to work with partners and groups. It is required to have a feeling for music.
Candidates must fill in the form on our web page and send by WeTransfer (https://wetransfer.com/) the CV, 2-3 full body pictures and portrait pictures, also a video with the requests is required (the duration will be between one and two minutes).
Video Requests:
- You are a fortune taller reading the cards while doing playback of the part sung by Ulrica in the following track: link from 2’10’’ to 3’54’’.
The selection will not be done in person. It will be done after examining the material received.
Extra-community candidates need to have a valid work permit and residence.
Candidates need to have full availability and to be over 18 years old.
The deadline to send the application is 3rd March 2024.
The list of the registered people will be published on 4thMarch 2024.
The final list will be published on 13th March 2024.
The rehearsal dates are: 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28 March, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16 and 18 April 2024.
The performance dates are: 21st (6:00 pm), 25th (7:30 pm), 28th April (6:00 pm), 2nd (7:30 pm) and 5th (6:00 pm) May 2024.
