Tots a cor

Educational activity of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía carried out in collaboration with the Cor de la Generalitat Valenciana and Institut Valencià de Cultura. It is aimed at students of Primary Education. The proposal’s main objective is to get to know the structure of a choir (Cor de la Generalitat Valenciana) and how it works, as well as the different voices that form it. Also, some excerpts of the titles of the current season will be heard.

The students, divided in small groups (up to 50 people), become familiar with one of the resident ensembles of an opera house. At the same time, they have the opportunity to know more precisely the possibilities and the use of the human voice as the main musical instrument.

During the weeks prior to attendance, music education teachers will work the contents and activities included in the didactic guide sent by Palau de les Arts, and which serves as a preliminary stage to prepare this activity.
