Didactic proposal aimed at students of Compulsory Secondary Education and High School. Through this activity, the students get familiar with the literary works which inspired the composers while they were creating their operas. The texts will be analysed in their translation into Spanish.
Selected passages from the novel or the play and their translation into librettos, will be worked previously by the students in the classroom. After that, students coming from different schools will read and discuss those passages in one of the rehearsal rooms of the Palau de les Arts. After all the statements, conclusions will be reached. Before attending the activity, the teacher will receive a didactic guide, which will help to unify the previous work done in the classroom.
