A living jazz legend, the
American guitarist Pat Metheny will visit the Les Arts auditorium
to delight unconditional fans of the guitar and music lovers in
general interested in listening to an undisputed contemporary jazz
musician live. More than 40 years of live performances, an
inestimable record legacy and 20 Grammy awards sum up the career of
the tireless guitarist and composer from Missouri. He has recently
released his latest record - From This Place – a double
album with ten new compositions of his, performing, together with a
quartet of renowned musicians and a symphonic orchestra, “one of
the records that I have been waiting to produce my whole life. This
is a kind of musical culmination”, in his own words. An exceptional
performer with an ability to communicate, generous with his public
which, together with the quality of the musicians that play
alongside him, make his concerts a first class event that should
not be missed.
