The new album that reflects the maturity and experience acquired by the singer from Malaga after 20 years of success in her musical career. In 40 QUILATES we find 14 songs carefully selected and performed in first person, where Pasión shows her soul and allows us to capture her feelings and experiences. All this under the production of the prestigious and famous musical director and conductor Fernando Velázquez.
In 40 QUILATES, Pasión Vega has decided to mix the songs from some of her favourite authors such as Antonio Martínez Ares, Jesús Bienvenido or Antonio Romera “Chipi” (from La Canalla), with other emerging ones such as El Kanka, Miguel Ángel Márquez (from Antílopez), Jorge Marazu o Fernando Arduan. With also the unpublished collaboration of maestro Armando Manzanero, Te creí, the classic Como la cigarra written by María Elena Walsh and that became so popular thanks to Mercedes Sosa, and the touch by Carmen París with her peculiar style.
