Concierto de Año Nuevo

For the New Year’s Concert, the Orquesta Sinfónica del Mediterráneo will play works from the big repertoire by the Strauss family, such as Pizzicato Polka, The Emperor Waltz and The Blue Danube, among others.

Since it was founded in 1993, the Orquesta Sinfónica del Mediterráneo seeks to confer an international touch to the Valencian culture. Since it was born, the orchestra has been committed to present high quality music in cooperation with the best conductors and soloists from the national and international panorama. The leader of the orchestra and its project is now Maestro Juan Antonio Ramírez, who gives a current and fresh character to all new projects, and enhances also collaborations with well-known conductors, soloists and orchestras.
