Her timbre has a “delicate fragrance” and her warm voice has been praised for its “fascinating palette of colours". Born in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), soprano Katharina Konradi has won over audiences and critics alike with roles such as Pamina, Marzelline, Adele, Susanna, Zerlina and Nannetta, as well as Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, which she sang with the Berlin Philharmonic and Kirill Petrenko. Whether in opera, operetta or Lieder, Konradi performs with intimacy, temperament and intensity, although it is the world of song that fascinates her most, as evidenced by her successes at Wigmore Hall, the Boulez Hall in Berlin and the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg-Hohenems. At Les Arts, she performs Lieder by Schubert and Liszt and selected songs by Spanish composers such as Toldrà, Granados, Obradors and García Abril.
