Nadine Sierra is not just a great voice. She is a charismatic and attractive personality who makes us vibrate with emotion with every performance. Her renditions of La Traviata and Lucia di Lammermoor are absolute benchmarks and in recent seasons she has become the prima donna of the most traditional opera houses, where she garners admiration and enthusiastic applause when she embodies the heroines of Romanticism and bel canto, such as Amina in La Sonnambula, Gilda in Rigoletto, Juliette in Roméo et Juliette and Manon. In addition, her range is incredibly versatile, as she has demonstrated at Les Arts with her Tytania in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Norina in Don Pasquale. In this recital, she offers us a journey through some of the most important composers of her career, such as Charpentier, Puccini and Verdi.
