AnimalPersona is the new electric project by Carles Chiner, the creative force behind the band Gener for seven years (2014–2021). Following three solo albums, four songs with Meravella and five years away from the stage, the singer and guitarist returns with a new band. Joining him on this new chapter are two other former members of Gener: Enric Alepuz (drums) and Vicent Todolí (keyboards), together with Carlos Soler (bass) and Samuel Reina (guitar). The five musicians perform songs by Gener alongside tracks from Bestiari, AnimalPersona's debut album, released on vinyl by El Mascarat Records. Their music resonates with soul, pop, Mediterranean influences and gentle vocal harmonies. The repertoire also portrays the contradictions and fragilities of the present day: a critical yet poetic reflection on speed, screens and the human condition.
