- Information DANCERS FOR THE FIRST PRODUCTION OF THE 2026-2027 SEASON
A selection process will be held for dancers for the first production of the 2026-2027 season, which Palau de les Arts will prepare during June, September and October 2026.
Roles:
We are looking for 16 dancers (men and women), aged 18 and over, with training in contemporary dance techniques and strong improvisation skills. Knowledge of flamenco technique will also be considered an asset. We are looking for versatile, collaborative artists who can contribute to a positive, creative and constantly evolving working environment.
Required information:
When completing the form, applicants must submit a file including:
- Curriculum vitae / Biography
- 1 headshot and 1 full-length photo
Applicants must complete the online form, attach the required information and attend the in-person casting, which will take place on 2 April 2026 at 10:00 am.
Applicants must have full availability and be over 18 years old.
The application period opens on 17 March and the deadline to submit the application and supporting material is 27 March 2026.
The list of registered and admitted applicants will be published on 30 March 2026.
The list of selected candidates will be published on 7 April 2026.
Rehearsal dates: 1, 2 and 3 June 2026, plus additional dates to be confirmed between 31 August and 29 September 2026.
Performance dates: 2 October (7:30 pm), 4 October (6:00 pm), 7 October (7:30 pm), 10 October (7:00 pm), 12 October (7:00 pm) and 15 October 2026 (7:30 pm).
2025/26
CHILD EXTRAS – SALOME
- Information CHILD EXTRAS – SALOME
A selection process will be held for child extras for the production of Salome (Richard Strauss), which Palau de les Arts will prepare during March and May 2026.
Roles:
- 1 girl: one female child extra is needed, aged between 9 and 13.Parents or legal guardians of minors who wish to apply must complete the online form, attach the required information and attend the in-person casting, which will take place on 10 February 2026 at 6:00 pm at Palau de les Arts.
When completing the form, applicants must send a file via WeTransfer including a headshot and a full-length photo of the child, a copy/photo of the child’s ID card or NIE, a photo of the family record book, the parents’ or legal guardians’ ID documents, or official proof of legal guardianship.
The role of an extra is to help create the atmosphere of a scene through their presence, without any specific impact on the action and without spoken text.
The application period opens on 26 January 2026 and the deadline to submit the application and supporting material is 8 February 2026.
On 9 February 2026, the website will publish a list of registered applicants and a list of those admitted to the casting. Applicants whose profile does not match the requirements described in section 2 of this call will be excluded from the process.
The in-person casting will take place on 10 February 2026 at 6:00 pm at Palau de les Arts.
The selected child will be announced on 12 February 2026.

- Information DANCERS AND EXTRAS – SALOME
A selection process will be held for dancers and extras for the production of Salome by Richard Strauss, which Palau de les Arts will prepare during March and May 2026.
The role of an extra is to help recreate the atmosphere of a scene through their presence, without any specific impact on the action and without spoken text. However, extras may be required to contribute to crowd noises, shouts and whispers.
Applicants must complete the online form, attach the required information and attend the in-person casting, which will take place on 10 February 2026 at 12:00 pm at Palau de les Arts.
Roles:
- 5 male dancers, aged between 20 and 45, between 1.70 m and 1.85 m tall, with stage experience.
- 1 male extra, aged between 40 and 65, with some knowledge of dance, between 1.70 m and 1.85 m tall, with stage experience.Required information:
