The Sala Principal, with a capacity of 1.412 spectators, is the most emblematic space in Calatrava’s majestic building. It is here that the opera, ballet and other stage performances included in the season’s program of the Palau de les Arts take place.
The auditorium features an ample parquet and four seating levels distributed in a horseshoe shape. The hall is equipped with the latest stage technology so that any type of event can be organized and carried out on its immense stage. All seats have their own text screen designed for simultaneous translation.
The Auditori can seat 1.450 spectators with excellent visibility in all seats. Due to its physical characteristics, it is especially suitable for symphonic concerts, cinematographic premieres, large conferences or congresses, and special events.
Next to the Auditori, which is reached by a series of panoramic elevators, are located the palm tree terraces, which offer admirable views of the city.
400 people
Located beneath the bed of the Turia river, this theatre, named after the 18th century musician who was Valencia’s most universal composer of all times, seats 400 people. The theatre generally hosts baroque opera and chamber music events and features an opera pit and a full complement of the latest stage equipment.
The theatre also has an adjoining lobby, complete with cafeteria. The entrance is independent from the rest of the building, thus allowing for the organization of events just outside the theatre.
The Aula Magistral has a capacity of 350 people. It is thus ideal for smaller events.The stage set-up is perfectly suited for conferences, recitals, lectures, or round table discussions.

Seating capacity: 1.000 people
This constitutes the main access to the Sala Principal and offers the best views of the rest of the Ciutat de les Arts i de les Ciències. Various types of events can be held here, especially banquets. Large circular tables allow for the seating of up to 1.000 people comfortably.
Its stunning vanguardist architecture endows this space with a unique atmosphere.

This space offers the same possibilities as the Vestíbul Principal, but in a more intimate format. It is conceived as a complementary space to the Aula Magistral, which opens off from it.

Seating capacity: 225 people
Designed to have two levels, this restaurant has capacity to seat 454 people comfortably at large tables. It provides the perfect complement to concerts or events held in the Auditori and it is ideal for cocktails either before or after any performance or event.
This spacious and luminous restaurant is amenable to all types of theme décor as required for special occasions, always respecting, of course, the original ambiance of Calatrava’s architecture.

Located on both sides of the building on the eleventh floor, these terraces are ideal for all types of open air receptions, both by day and at night. They offer spectacular views of both the city and the Turia Gardens.

With views of the Ciutat de les Arts i de les Ciències, these rooms offer the possibility of holding smaller, more elegant events and exclusive banquets. They are also ideal for press conferences, the public signing of contracts, or private receptions of any type.

Looking out over the Ciutat de les Arts i de les Ciències with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop, this balcony is a unique, open air space perfect for any event and for enjoying the spectacular view.
It is the square that gives access to the room of the same name and extends under the glass walkway that leads to the Sala Principal. This esplanade is very suitable for all kinds of outdoor cocktails related to the occupation of the theater that gives its name to the square, and has independent access to the main building.

This plaza constitutes the principal public access to the Palau de les Arts. It provides an impressive panoramic view of the building and it is where the majestic plume that crowns the Palau begins.
