Valencia (7.2.25). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía joins the Google Arts & Culture platform in its commitment to the digitization of content within its opening actions to bring the public closer to both the impressive building designed by Santiago Calatrava and its intense artistic activity.

Through 130 images, 12 digital reports and a virtual tour of the building with Street View technology, the new Les Arts profile allows the user to enjoy a complete experience in the coliseum: discover its most spectacular snapshots, learn about its emblematic productions or immerse themselves in some of its most popular initiatives, such as the previews for those under 29 or 'Les Arts Volant', the stage truck with which the cultural center takes opera to all corners of the Valencian geography.

The virtual tour allows internet users to explore, with just one click, the 40,000 square meters that the Valencian arts center covers: from its impressive terraces with privileged views of the City of Arts and Sciences and the Turia Garden, passing through the various rooms where its shows are programmed and rehearsed, along with the different and suggestive spaces created by Calatrava, without missing the smallest architectural detail of the most photographed building in the city of Valencia.

The website offers four distinct tours of the four halls open to the public: Main Hall, Auditorium, Lecture Hall, and Teatre Martín i Soler. From the stalls to the stage, visitors can discover the unique features of each: such as the spacious orchestra pit in the Main Hall, the acoustic markings and elements revealed by its trencadís-covered walls, the mosaics created by Santiago Calatrava for the Auditorium, or the concrete structures of the Lecture Hall.

Google Arts & Culture is Google's initiative that puts more than 3,000 cultural institutions from 95 countries within everyone's reach, in order to offer the possibility of immersively exploring the art, history and wonders of the world.
