Valencia (20.04.21). The artist from Huelva, Argentina, dedicates her performance this Friday, April 23, at the Teatre Martín i Soler within the 'Les Arts és flamenco' cycle, to the purest repertoire of cante jondo.

Accompanied by José Quevedo 'Bolita' on guitar and Los Mellis on backing vocals, handclaps and cheers, the singer has prepared a program of classic flamenco singing for the Les Arts audience, in which she will perform traditional flamenco styles.

An artist with a powerful voice and elegant phrasing, Argentina is one of the great ladies of flamenco today, an unavoidable presence in the main cycles dedicated to this genre.

His breakthrough in 2006 with the album 'Argentina' became one of the most celebrated debuts in the genre, winning the Critics' Award for Best New Singer Album, as well as topping the charts on the main Andalusian music radio stations.

Twice nominated for Latin Grammys, the Huelva native, with five albums on the market, is growing unstoppably in the national music scene with performances in the main Spanish theaters and auditoriums, as well as on the international circuit, especially in the United States, where she has performed at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel, and at the legendary SOB's venue in New York.

Argentina also stands out for the versatility of her voice, which allows her to make her own genres such as fado, tango, bolero, ranchera, copla, and more, starting from flamenco. The singer has just released her latest single, 'Que alguien me diga', a new version of the song by the great Panamanian author Omar Alfanno.

Les Arts reminds everyone that tickets for the Argentina concert have a single price of 30 euros.

With this performance, Argentina returns to the Palau de les Arts, where she first performed in 2012 as a guest artist of the National Ballet of Spain in 'Suite Sevilla'.
