Valencia (May 27, 2025). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía closes its cycle dedicated to Flamenco with a visit from one of the new talents of flamenco singing, Ismael de la Rosa, 'El Bola', who will perform this Friday, May 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Teatre Martín i Soler.
'El Bola' comes from a Gypsy lineage deeply rooted in flamenco singing; his great-uncle is Curro Fernández, from whom all his descendants draw their inspiration: Esperanza Fernández, Paco Fernández, and Ismael Fernández, the young man from Triana's father. The saga continues with Ismael de la Rosa, who bursts onto the flamenco scene with a fresh perspective, championing the essence of the purest art form while infusing it with contemporary freshness and sensibility.
His artistic maturity contrasts with the youth of the promising singer, who made his professional debut at just seven years old at the Biarritz Festival, a stage that would be the starting point of an international career, with performances in the United States, Japan, France or Switzerland and work with great figures of the genre such as La Chana, Güito, Farruquito, Antonio Canales, Esperanza Fernández, Alfonso Losa, Lola Greco, Rocío Molina, Manuel Liñán and Juana Amaya, among others.
Accompanied by El Peli on guitar, Paco Vega on percussion, Juan Roca on flute and harmonica, and with Farruquito as a guest artist, Ismael de la Rosa proposes for his first performance at the Valencian theater a musical dialogue full of duende, in which the palos are dressed in the modernity of new talents, but always with respect for tradition and the flamenco legacy.
Les Arts reminds everyone that tickets for the last session of Les Arts és Flamenco can be purchased through the different sales channels of the theater: box offices, the sales line 96 197 59 00 and its website .
