This is a luxury first concert
of the Great Voices cycle, with two exceptional singers: Sondra
Radvanovsky and Piotr Beczała, a must-hear artistic couple for
lovers of song. Since her memorable Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac in
the inaugural season of Les Arts, Sondra Radvanovsky has performed
a multitude of roles that have catapulted her to fame as a Verdian,
bel canto and verismo soprano. The solidity and exquisite colour of
her voice are a perfect match for the beautiful timbre and vocal
authority of tenor Piotr Beczała. They are, without a doubt, two
great, charismatic voices with brilliant careers, appearing
together in this fascinating concert dedicated to verismo, with
arias and duets from Tosca, Manon Lescaut and Andrea Chénier, in
which Keri-Lynn Wilson will conduct the Orchestra of the Region of
Valencia.
