This is a luxury first concert of the Great Voices cycle, with two exceptional singers: Sondra Radvanovsky and Piotr Beczała, a must-hear artistic couple for lovers of song. Since her memorable Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac in the inaugural season of Les Arts, Sondra Radvanovsky has performed a multitude of roles that have catapulted her to fame as a Verdian, bel canto and verismo soprano. The solidity and exquisite colour of her voice are a perfect match for the beautiful timbre and vocal authority of tenor Piotr Beczała. They are, without a doubt, two great, charismatic voices with brilliant careers, appearing together in this fascinating concert dedicated to verismo, with arias and duets from Tosca and Manon Lescaut, on this occasion accompanied by pianist Sarah Tysman.
