The international career of American tenor Michael Fabiano took off in 2014 when he won the Beverly Sills and Richard Tucker Awards, two prestigious prizes in his country. He soon became one of the most admired of lyric tenors for the intensity of his interpretations. Specialising in Italian and French romantic opera, in recent years he has sung practically all the roles of Puccini and other verismo composers. His debut at Les Arts in 2018, in the title role of Verdi's Il Corsaro, attracted national and international press attention. On his second visit to Valencia as a recital performer, he will delight his audience with selected songs by Duparc, Turina, Tosti and Puccini, accompanied on the piano by Bénédicte Jourdois.
