LA HABITACIÓN ROJA

La Habitación Roja, a Valencian quartet formed in 1995 by Jorge Martí (vocals and guitars) and José Marco (drums), is one of the most outstanding groups on the national indie-rock scene. With a career marked by timeless anthems, they have recorded for labels such as Grabaciones en el Mar, Astro Discos and Mushroom Pillow. Their eponymous album in 1998 included hits such as “Mi habitación”. With Largometraje (1999) and Radio (2001) they achieved recognition on the Spanish scene, which culminated with Universal (2009) and Fue Eléctrico (2011). They signed with Mushroom Pillow in 2003 and collaborated with Steve Albini on Nuevos Tiempos (2005) and Cuando ya no quede nada (2007). Their success continued with La Moneda en el Aire (2014), Sagrado Corazón (2016) and Memoria (2018). Their new studio album will be released in 2024.
