Les Arts resumes its collaboration with the Church of San Nicolás, where soprano María Espada and Manuel Minguillón on the archlute perform the programme “Il pianto della Madonna”, a journey through pieces by 17th-century Italian composers such as Monteverdi and Caccini, which invites reflection and contemplation. María Espada is a leading figure in Baroque performance, as evidenced by her concerts with prestigious conductors such as Giovanni Antonini, Fabio Biondi, Ton Koopman and Frans Brüggen, as well as her numerous recordings in collaboration with ensembles such as Al Ayre Español, Concierto Español and Forma Antiqva.
