Valencia (25.3.26). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía welcomes this Friday, March 27, the flamenco singer Argentina, one of the most emblematic and exciting voices of contemporary flamenco, with Flamenco por cantaora , a journey through the essence of cante jondo in which the artist from Huelva interprets with her unmistakable art the most representative styles of the genre in the Teatre Martín i Soler.

Flamenco por cantaora was born from Argentina's ongoing study of the genre and a reflection on its roots, its present state, and its evolution. On stage, Argentina revives, with her own personal touch, everything from soleás to alegrías, including seguiriyas, marianas, verdiales, romance, bulerías, and tangos. Each performance becomes a tribute to the great figures who paved the way, but also an affirmation of a living and evolving flamenco.

For her concert at Les Arts, the singer born in Huelva will be accompanied by Francis Gómez and Javier Ibáñez on guitars, and by Roberto Jaén and Jorge Bautista on palmas and jaleos.

Since her last visit to Les Arts in 2021, Argentina's career has continued to grow strongly. In 2024, she released Mi idilio con La Habana , a work that fuses flamenco with Cuban son, salsa, and bolero, recorded between Cuba and Spain and featuring collaborations with notable artists such as Pancho Céspedes and the Valencian group Plena 79 Salsa Orchestra.

More recently, in December 2025, the Huelva-born performer presented Utrera Flamenco Fetén (Live), an album born from a deeply emotional experience during a tribute to the flamenco singer El Cuchara.

Following Argentina's performance, Ismael de la Rosa 'El Bola' will be in charge of closing the Les Arts és Flamenco program on May 29 at the Teatre Martín i Soler.

Les Arts reminds you that tickets for any of the concerts in this series are available through the theater's various sales channels: box office, telephone sales line 96 197 59 00 and the official Les Arts website.
