Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes welcomes Pau Alabajos, Anna Millo and Pep Mirambell this week

  • Pau Alabajos will bring to the stage Versos a la ViaMichelin , a musical journey through post-war poetry at the Teatre Martín i Soler
  • Anna Millo closes her Radiografía tour while Pep Mirambell presents Pop Socialista Obrero Español in Valencia.

Valencia (4.3.26). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía begins the second week of its cycle dedicated to the musical scene of the Valencian Community with attention to singer-songwriter music and leading artists in the three provinces: Pau Alabajos from Torrent will be the protagonist of the session on Friday, March 6, and Anna Millo from Benicàssim and Pep Mirambell from San Vicente will share the stage on Saturday the 7th.

Pau Alabajos concludes his "Versos a la ViaMichelin" tour at the Teatre Martín i Soler in Les Arts, a tour that has included more than 90 concerts and showcased his latest work: a self-titled book and CD set to music, featuring poems by Salvador Espriu, Maria Mercè Marçal, Vicent Andrés Estellés, Marc Granell, and Joan Margarit. In addition to the CD and book, the project also includes educational workshops for secondary and high school students.

The album title refers to the "Vietnamese mimeographs," the hand-operated mimeograph machines used to reproduce and distribute clandestine texts during the Franco dictatorship. For his concert at the Teatre Martín i Soler, Pau Alabajos will also perform emblematic songs from his repertoire, along with a few surprises.

On Saturday, March 7th, at 7:30 pm, the Teatre Martín i Soler will host Anna Millo and Pep Mirambell on the same stage. For Anna Millo, the evening will mark the end of her tour for Radiografia , her first solo album, conceived as a concept album that traces an emotional map through songs linked to different parts of the body and the personal experiences of the Benicàssim-born artist.

The album explores urban sounds with influences from hip-hop, pop, neo-soul and rhythm & blues, and represents a new artistic stage for the Valencian artist.

For his part, Pep Mirambell will dedicate his performance at Les Arts to Pop Socialista Obrero Español , his brand new first LP, in which the former member of Els Jóvens combines the message and commitment of the singer-songwriter with the lightness and freshness of pop sounds to address issues such as precarity, housing, language or toxic relationships.

Pop Socialista Obrero Español offers a brave, yet close and sensitive look through twelve tracks, among which the singer from San Vicente del Raspeig has included collaborations with artists such as Íñigo Soler, Aina Palmer and Noelia Llorens 'Titana'.

Tickets for the 'Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes' cycle can be purchased through the different sales channels of the theater: box offices, the sales line 96 197 59 00 and the Les Arts website.
