Valencia (7.2.2024). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía closes the second edition of 'Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes' with performances by Margarita Quebrada and Xenia, on Friday, February 9, and by Sandra Monfort, on Saturday the 10th, at the Teatre Martín i Soler.

Les Arts thus enters the third and final week of this series, which aims to showcase the great diversity of genres cultivated in the Valencian Community: from alternative rock and electronic music to singer-songwriter music and traditional Valencian folk songs. Established names and emerging groups or solo artists make up the lineup for this initiative by the arts center to open its doors to new audiences and new artistic proposals.

This Friday, February 9th, the most avant-garde and electronic sounds take to the stage at the Teatre Martín i Soler. The post-punk and 80s music of the group Margarita Quebrada join the dark pop and electronica of Xenia in a concert at Les Arts where they will present their joint EP 'Aleación', an organic fusion between two leading figures of the new sounds and aesthetics of Valencian electronic music.

'Aleación' is a true turning point in the band's development, a symbiosis between New Wave, darker Pop and Remember music, the most singable choruses and the constant feeling that we are facing something very big, in which they evolve and mature the essence of their acclaimed collaboration in 2022 with the song 'Otro lado' within Margarita Quebrada's album 'Gas Lágrima'.

Sandra Monfort headlines the fifth and final session of the series. After debuting last season with the group Marala, the artist from Pedreguer returns to Les Arts as a solo artist after a resounding 2023 in which she established herself as one of the essential voices of Valencian pop. Monfort is synonymous with tradition, folk, and exploration, but also with avant-garde and experimentation.

Her outstanding breakthrough with her first LP, 'Niño Reptil Ángel' (2021), winner of two Carles Santos Awards, including 'best album', has been confirmed with her second work 'La Mona' (2023), the definitive endorsement for the Alicante native with three new 'Carles Santos' awards to her credit and an important concert schedule.

Les Arts reminds you that the last tickets for both concerts are still on sale, starting at 12 euros.
