Valencia (23.6.25). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía welcomes the prestigious Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez, who stars in the last recital of the season of the 'Les Arts és Gran Veus' cycle, this Sunday, May 25, in the Main Hall at 7.00 p.m.

Considered by Luciano Pavarotti himself as his successor, Juan Diego Flórez stands out both for his virtuoso vocal range and for his technique and mastery of singing, with which he has triumphed in each and every one of the main theaters, auditoriums and festivals in the world.

The 'tenor of tenors', who has sold out every one of his concerts and recitals at Les Arts, offers on his fifth visit to the Valencian opera house a program with some of the works that have established him as the undisputed king of 'bel canto'.

On this occasion, the public will be able to enjoy a repertoire with songs by Bellini, Donizetti and Rossini, zarzuela romances such as 'Bella enamorada', 'Al mismito rey del moro' or 'Suena guitarrico mío', along with arias from the tenor's most celebrated operatic forays, among others, 'Pourquoi me réveiller', from 'Werther', by Massenet, or the feared and spectacular 'Ah! mes amis… Pour mon âme', from 'La fille du régiment', by Donizetti, reserved for very few performers.

Juan Diego Flórez will be accompanied on piano by Vincenzo Scalera at Les Arts, a faithful partner of the Peruvian tenor throughout his long professional career, with whom he has shared the stage in the most important concert halls of the international circuit.
