Juan Diego Flórez arrives in Valencia to offer a lyrical concert at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía

Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez is already in Valencia to rehearse tomorrow for the lyrical concert he will give next Tuesday the 18th at 8:00 p.m. in the Auditori of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, in which he will perform a selection of outstanding bel canto pieces.
Juan Diego Flórez returns to the Valencian opera house to begin the tour presenting his latest album, "Bel Canto Spectacular", an album recorded at the Palau de les Arts with the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, Plácido Domingo and Anna Netrebko.
In this concert, the tenor and the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, conducted by Christopher Franklin, will perform works by Bellini (I Capuleti e I Montecchi), Rossini (Il turco in Italia, Guillaume Tell), Donizetti (La figlia del reggimento, La favorite), Pérez Soriano (El guitarrico) and Barrera Saavedra (Emigrantes).
Juan Diego Flórez is currently one of the best tenors and has become a benchmark of the bel canto repertoire, after triumphing in theaters such as La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan in New York, Covent Garden in London or the Vienna Opera, among others.
