Così fan tutte begins to play at the Palau de les Arts

The Mayor and artistic director of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía Helga Schmidt, together with the soprano Barbara Frittoli (Fiordiligi) and the bass Natale de Carolis (Don Alfonso) in Mozart's Così fan tutte, which premieres on February 28 at 8:00 p.m. in the Main Hall of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
Così fan tutte is a Glyndebourne Festival Opera production. It is conducted by Maestro Tomáš Netopil for all performances, with stage direction by Nicholas Hytner. The cast includes Barbara Frittoli as Fiordiligi, Natale De Carolis as Don Alfonso, Nino Surguladze as Dorabella, Joel Prieto as Ferrando, and Joan Martín-Royo as Guglielmo. With the comic opera Così fan tutte, the Palau de les Arts completes the trilogy of works on which Mozart and librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte collaborated: Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Così fan tutte.
