06.03.2009
Valencia (9.03.09).- The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía will host tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m. in the Saló del Túria, the round table 'Mozart and Matín i Soler. Rivals? Friends? Respected colleagues?'.
The musicologist and director of l'Auditori de Torrent, Josep Ruvira, will be in charge of moderating the colloquium in which the critics Roger Alier and Alfredo Brotons will participate.
This round table is part of the theme 'Martín i Soler and Mozart. Geniuses in parallel' with which the Palau de les Arts wants to delve deeper into the relationship and supposed rivalry that these two composers maintained in Imperial Vienna at the end of the 18th century as well as the common link with the great Lorenzo Da Ponte, who wrote their best operatic librettos.
Entry to this round table discussion is free and open to the public until the room reaches capacity.
