Valencia (20-06-08).- The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía will bring to the streets on June 25 and 28, at 10:30 p.m., the scenic universe created by La Fura dels Baus for the Valencian production of The Ring of the Nibelung with the open-air show Anell de llum, which will take place on the access walkway to the emblematic building by Santiago Calatrava.

Following the success of the previous edition of the Festival del Mediterrani, in which more than 12,000 people witnessed the impressive human and technical display of the Spanish theater group, the Valencian arts center is once again presenting this show that combines fragments of the staging of the operas that make up the tetralogy The Ring of the Nibelung (The Rhinegold, The Valkyrie, Siegfried and The Twilight of the Gods) with projections of the same as well as musical passages from the monumental work of Richard Wagner.

Spectators will be able to enjoy some of the most celebrated moments of these productions, which are being performed these days at the Palau de les Arts, free of charge.

Fragments such as the famous 'Ride of the Valkyries', which will parade among the passersby; the pools suspended in the air from where the Rhine maidens will witness how the Nibelung Alberich snatches the gold from them; the death struggle of Siegfried with the dragon serpent or the entrance of the gods into Valhalla, formed by a human net made up of 42 people lifted with a huge crane, will make up this exhibition by La Fura dels Baus that will combine technology, special effects, light shows, projections and impressive displays of human architecture.
