This year, guided tours of the building will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in groups of 30 people, who will visit the different rooms and spaces of the Palau de les Arts. In addition, on that day, the musicians of the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana and the singers of the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo will offer a series of free concerts and recitals. Tickets can be collected at the Palau de les Arts box office; Palau subscribers can collect them on October 5th, and the general public can collect them from October 6th until the halls reach capacity.

The musical program for this Open House will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Aula Magistral with a surprising program that will delight string music lovers, performed by professors from the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana. At 1:00 p.m., in the Teatre Martín i Soler, singers from the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo will offer a recital featuring works by Glière, Poulenc, Delibes, Falla, Villa-Lobos, Miranda, and Bernstein. The musical offerings will continue in the afternoon with another evening of opera featuring compositions by Rossini, Tosti, Puccini, Strauss, Debussy, Ravel, Wagner, and Brahms, also in the Teatre Martín i Soler at 4:00 p.m.

Two concerts at the Auditori will bring this Open House Day to a close. At 6:00 p.m., members of the Palau de les Arts' resident ensemble will perform a wind concert, including Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's Nocturne for Winds, Stravinsky's Octet for Winds, and Strauss's Suite for Winds, Op. 4. The Valencian cultural center continues its commitment to organizing activities that bring opera closer to the people of the Valencian Community. During the recent Festival del Mediterrani, the Anell de Llum performance drew over 40,000 people to the area around the Palau de les Arts, and more than 4,000 people watched the screening of the opera Die Walküre in Valencia's Plaza de la Virgen.
