Les Arts és Per a Tots

  • The OCV and the singers and pianists of the Opera Studio offer 16 performances, including chamber concerts and recitals, in municipalities across the three provinces.
  • Les Arts és Inclusió also continues its activities in prisons and residences in the Valencian Community this June.

Valencia (06/21/2023). The artists from the Center de Perfectionament del Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía and the teachers from the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana embark on a new edition of the 'Les Arts amb Tu' tour tomorrow, Saturday, June 22.

During the months of June, July and September, the two artistic assets of Les Arts will star in a total of 16 performances in the three provinces of the Valencian Community, including the cultural capitals of 2024, Bicorp and Monóvar.

Along with the Les Arts Volant truck performances, which also begin this weekend, the main purpose of the 'Les Arts amb Tu' tour is to bring opera and symphonic music closer to all citizens with the same artistic standards as any show presented in the Santiago Calatrava building.

The various proposals include opera and zarzuela recitals, performed by the young artists of the Opera Studio of Les Arts, chamber concerts from the different sections of the OCV, brass, woodwinds and strings, as well as two symphonic concerts under the direction of James Gaffigan in September.

The singers and pianists of the Centre de Perfeccionament will be in charge of inaugurating this intense tour, this Saturday, June 22nd in the Valencian town of Sueca, to which the musicians of the OCV will be added a day later, on Sunday the 23rd with their visit to the Castellón municipality of Benlloc.

The 'Les Arts amb Tu' stops also include Bicorp (June 23), Callosa d'En Sarrià (June 28 and July 5), Alzira and Puçol (June 29), Buñol and Monóvar (July 4), Villar del Arzobispo and Bicorp (July 6), Museros (July 7), Cocentaina (July 11) and Xàtiva (July 12).

After the summer break, the musical director of Les Arts, James Gaffigan, will visit the Teatro de la Unión Musical de Llíria (September 13) and the Auditorio Municipal de Cullera (September 14) with the OCV.

Arts is Inclusion

Likewise, 'Les Arts és Inclusió' continues in parallel with its commitment to music as an integrating element for users of penitentiary centers and residences for the elderly in the Valencian Community.

The different sections of the OCV, as well as the young talents of the Centre de Perfeccionament, combine their activity during the programming of the 23-24 Season, the tour of 'Les Arts amb Tu', or the 'Les Arts Volant' truck, with their participation in this project that celebrates its third year of operation.

The brass and string sections of the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, with performances in the penitentiary centers of Albocàsser, Picassent and Villena, and the performers of the Opera Studio of Les Arts, with visits to the centers for the elderly in Almussafes and Vila-real, complete the agenda of initiatives of closeness and openness, with which the Valencian arts center works to bring closer and enhance the social value of classical music and opera.
