Valencia (5-6-11).- The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía brings Beethoven's opera Fidelio closer to the youngest children with the activity 'In search of Florestan'.
During this tour of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, a group of children accompanied by actors delve into the plot of Fidelio, the only opera composed by Ludwig van Beethoven and which is part of the program of the IV Festival del Mediterrani.
At the beginning of this adventure, Leonore devises a plan to enlist the group's help in finding the cell where her beloved Florestan is imprisoned. A conversation between Rocco and Don Pizarro, two other characters in the opera, is the key that leads them to the place where Leonore's love is locked away.
In total, the Palau de les Arts has scheduled ten educational sessions from Monday, June 6th to Friday, June 10th. On Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th, the cultural center has scheduled four family performances, open to the general public, at 12:00 and 17:00 each day.
Tickets for 'In Search of Florestan', sold exclusively at the opera house box office, are priced at €5 for children and €8 for adults (13 years and over). Performances are limited to 80 participants, with a maximum of 20 adult places.
