Valencia (14-3-2012).- The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía opens its doors on the night of March 18-19 with a new initiative within its guided tour program, 'Nit del Foc a Les Arts'.

This activity allows visitors to explore the interior of Santiago Calatrava's building and watch the 'Nit del Foc' fireworks from its balconies while enjoying a varied snack.

The tour, which begins at 0.30 h, stops at the main spaces and rooms of the Valencian arts center, to conclude in the glass-enclosed cafeteria, located on the eighth floor, which usually hosts the catering service on days with a performance.

From this privileged vantage point, 17 meters high, attendees can witness the impressive fireworks display. The Palau de les Arts has also opened its balconies and adjacent terraces for those who prefer to watch the 'Nit del Foc' from the outside. Attendees will be accompanied at all times by staff from the guided tours department.

Tickets for 'Nit del Foc a Les Arts' cost €35, or €30 for season ticket holders of the Valencian cultural center. Those interested can make reservations by calling 961 975 804, emailing visites@www.lesarts.com, or at the Palau de les Arts box office during its regular hours: Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The deadline for reservations is Saturday, March 17, at 2:00 p.m.
