Valencia (22.10.24). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía welcomes the great star of Brazilian music Marisa Monte, who offers a single performance on October 25 at the Auditori (7:30 p.m.) with 'Os maiores successos' of her career.

Marisa Monte is currently on an intense tour of major European cities, including Valencia, with a program that will review some of her most important hits such as 'Ainda bem', 'Já sei namorar' and 'Amor I love you', among others.

'Les Arts és Altres Músiques', after its previous forays into jazz, fado, or cabaret, opens this season to Brazilian music with one of its most internationally renowned artists, with more than 30 years on stage, more than 15 million records sold and four Latin Grammys.

Versatile and innovative, the songs and compositions of the Rio de Janeiro artist reflect the influence of the traditional music of her native country: samba, baião and bossa nova, which she fuses with other genres such as soul, pop and jazz.

Considered one of the icons of Brazilian music, in her long artistic career she has collaborated with renowned figures such as Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Carlinhos Brown, Nando Reis and Jorge Drexler.
