Valencia (14.11.24). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía joins the solidarity actions launched by the Consell with those affected by the DANA storm with a "fila 0" (zero row) for all its shows, which will be channeled through the account set up by the Generalitat Valenciana for this purpose.

The arts center will resume its activity to the public this Saturday, November 16, with 'Cartes Blanches', a contemporary dance show fused with different artistic styles, by the renowned French choreographer Mourad Merzouki and the Compagnie Käfig at the Teatre Martín i Soler (7:00 p.m.).

Merzouki has been one of the leading figures in hip-hop since he began on the scene in the 90s. Throughout his career, he has explored a variety of styles and disciplines, without neglecting the hip-hop movement, which he fuses with martial arts, circus, live music and video.

In 2016, the French choreographer celebrated the company's twentieth anniversary with the premiere of 'Cartes Blanches', a production that brought together six of the best dancers who have been part of the Käfig company since its founding.

Yann Abidi, Rémi Auechaud, Kader Belmoktar, Brahim Bouchelaghem, Rachid Hamchauoui and Hafid Sour make up the dance troupe for this reunion: a tale of “extraordinary adventure” through the memory of bodies and life, a show full of vitality.

With this show, Merzouki pays homage to all the styles that have defined the evolution of his artistic journey, showcasing the
A perfect fusion of different disciplines, accompanied by the music of Armand Amar.
