Valencia (19.11.24). The 'Les Arts és Flamenco' series welcomes this coming Saturday, November 23, one of the most promising flamenco singers of the moment, Israel Fernández from Toledo, who will perform at the Auditori del Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía with his album, “Pura Sangre”.

Considered the best flamenco singer of his generation, “Pura Sangre” is the most personal and intimate work of the Toledo-born artist. Nominated for Best Flamenco Album at the 2023 Latin Grammys, it has garnered critical and public acclaim.
An exercise in introspection in which Israel Fernández discovers how to interact with his environment, including love, values, nature, Gypsy culture and family, and how to relate to the outside world.

In “Pura Sangre”, the Toledo-born singer once again relies on the guitar of Diego del Morao, a great reference point for contemporary flamenco, who will also accompany him this coming Saturday in Valencia, along with Ané Carrasco on percussion and keyboards and Pirulo and Marcos Carpio on palmas (handclapping).

Israel Fernández is characterized by his knowledge, love and respect for flamenco singing and culture, but also by the variety of his vocal range and his way of exploring, which make him one of the most important performers in the current scene of the genre and of music in Spain.

Following Israel Fernández's performance at the Auditori, the 'Les Arts és Flamenco' cycle moves to the Teatre Martín i Soler, which will host performances by Mayte Martín (December 13, 2024), Antonio Reyes and Jesús Méndez (February 21, 2025), El Pele (April 24, 2025) and Reyes Carrasco (May 23, 2025).
