Valencia (09.12.24). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia will once again feature the prestigious flamenco singer Mayte Martín, who will inaugurate the 'Les Arts és Flamenco' program this Friday, December 13 (7.00 pm) at the Teatre Martín i Soler.

The Catalan performer returns to Les Arts with the project 'Intimate Flamenco': “an incitement to remember, to that action of stirring memory to pay homage to what came before us and to give thanks for what has been granted to us. The act of stopping to reflect on what is essential,” as the artist herself explains.

Martín is considered one of the most prestigious flamenco singers in the genre due to her groundbreaking career, unique philosophy, and overwhelming artistic personality that she offers in each of her performances.

In each concert, she demonstrates her respect and admiration for flamenco tradition and culture, giving them her own transgressive touch in her search for new artistic paths, being a pioneer of what is known as "Catalan flamenco".

On this new visit to Les Arts, the artist will be accompanied by guitarist and composer José Gálvez, who in his musical career has played alongside the most recognized voices of flamenco singing.

'Les Arts és Flamenco' brings together leading artists of the flamenco scene each year, allowing audiences to discover its diverse styles and enjoy one of the most important hallmarks of Spanish culture. In 2025, the series will feature performances by Antonio Reyes and Jesús Méndez (February 21), El Pele (April 24), and Reyes Carrasco (May 23).
