  • Fabiano, one of the most prestigious tenors on the international circuit, returns six years after his acclaimed 'Il corsaro' by Verdi
  • The program encompasses the lyricism of the French 'chanson' and the Italian 'canzone', including Puccini's romances and Barber's songs.

Valencia (11.12.24). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía welcomes the renowned tenor Michael Fabiano this Sunday, December 15, in his presentation as a chamber music performer with works by Duparc, Barber, Tosti and Puccini.

Fabiano, one of the great stars of the international circuit, returns to the Main Hall of Les Arts six years after his debut with Verdi's 'Il corsaro', with a repertoire that will allow you to enjoy the elegance and versatility of his voice, accompanied on the piano by Bénédicte Jourdois.

A leading singer in Italian and French romantic opera, the New Jersey tenor has starred in one of the most dazzling careers of recent years since his emergence in 2014, when he became the first singer to win prestigious 'Richard Tucker' and 'Beverly Sills' awards in the same year.

For his highly anticipated return to the Les Arts audience, Fabiano proposes a suggestive program, ranging from the exquisite lyricism of Henri Duparc's 'chanson', to Tosti, the great master of the Italian canzone, Puccini's romances, and Samuel Barber's songs based on texts by James Joyce.

Following Michael Fabiano's visit, the 'Les Arts és Lied' cycle has programmed two essential events for lovers of this genre in 2025: the debut of the German baritone Michael Volle, one of the best Wagnerian and Strauss interpreters today (March 23), and a new visit from one of the most beloved performers by the Valencian public, the charismatic mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato (June 15).
