10.10.2016
Nacho Fresneda led a prose workshop last week for artists at the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo. This marks the second collaboration between the renowned Valencian actor and the young singers' training program at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
Throughout the week, the young singers have worked on stage technique, under the supervision of a personal trainer, as well as declamation and the staging of theatrical fragments.
Nacho Fresneda has had the help of the actress and dancer Fátima Sanlés, who will be in charge of monitoring the activity throughout the course.
Known to the general public for his roles in successful television series such as “El ministerio del tiempo”, “Isabel”, “La reina del sur”, “Ángel o demonio”, “Ambiciones”, “Hispania”, “Hospital Central” and “Amar en tiempos revueltos”, Fresneda also has a notable theatrical career with works for Calixto Bieito or Lluís Pasqual, among others.
The actor made his debut in 2015 at Les Arts with the lyrical monodrama “Lélio”, by Hector Berlioz, which was directed by Roberto Abbado within the first Pre-season of the arts center.
Nacho Fresneda is part of the list of outstanding professionals who are collaborating this year in the training activities of the Centre Plácido Domingo and which, in addition to Domingo himself and Davide Livermore, includes Fabio Biondi, Manuela Custer, Enedina Lloris and Franca Mattiuci, among others.
The subjects in this project's academic course include vocal technique, interpretation, languages, body expression, Alexander technique and psychology, along with master classes in bel canto, prose, recitative and baroque repertoire.
