Les Arts expands the various visits guided by the tips of “La traviata”, “Lucrezia Borgia”, “Werther”, and “Tancredi”
27.12.2016
The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia opened the exhibitions in the Main Hall to serve guided visitors on the occasion of the upcoming premieres: “La traviata” by Verdi, “Lucrezia Borgia” by Donizetti, “Werther” by Massenet and “Tancredi” by Rossini.
This new format of visit allows the assistants to know 'in situ' the work prior to the premiere of an opera or sarsuela production, in addition to touring the different countries of the building designed by Santiago Calatrava. The price of the venues, which can be purchased at www.lesarts.com or at the theater box office, is 15 euros for the general public and 12 euros for Season subscribers.
The proposal began with the assistance for thirty minutes with one of the last samples of music and artists leaving the premiere of each title. The visitors, located in the windows on the first floor of the Main Hall – with privileged visibility – get a first-hand look at how the work is displayed on the stage, in addition to checking the complexity of the inn in terms of a lyrical production.
After the experience, the staff of Les Arts shows and explains to visitors the rest of the attractions of the theatre, as well as the reasons for special relevance to their clothes, architecture or activities.
“La traviata” by Verdi, in the Sofia Coppola museum with Valentino costumes, is the first of the titles that will be shown by its secrets on February 2 at 3:15 p.m. The new productions of “Lucrezia Borja” will follow, directed by Emilio Sagi, on March 20, and “Werther” by Massenet, on May 15, under the stage direction of Jean-Louis Grinda. “Tancredi”, by Rossini, marks the cycle of proposals for the 2016-2017 Season.
Les Arts reminds you that the maximum allowed for these groups is fifty people per session. All guided visits with access to assaig begin at 3:15 p.m.
