Fabio Biondi performs the Les Arts chamber music cycle with the 'Alemanya Barroca' concert

Fabio Biondi announces that he will see, May 6, at 7:00 p.m., the chamber music cycle of the 2016-2017 Season of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía with the 'Alemanya Barroca' concert.

For this third and last session, the musical director of Les Arts proposes, together with the music of the Valencian Community Orchestra (OCV), a program that includes Bach's works 'Concert de Brandemburg number 3' and 'Trio sonata per a dues flutes i continu', as well as 'Concerto grosso opus 3, number 3', by H?ndel, i 'Suite per a corda 'La changeante', by Telemann.

The concert will take place at Espai Los Toros, a venue that the arts center has opened to the public for the first time, located on the first floor of the building and with capacity for 226 spectators.

With this retrospective view of the German baroque repertoire, Fabio Biondi concludes his first foray with the OCV into chamber repertoire at Les Arts, an initiative that will begin next month with 'Mozart's Environment' and will continue to March with 'Itàlia más enllà de l'opera'.

Tickets for this show are based on the cultural center's popular preus policy, with a single rate of 15 euros per venue.

The master from Palermo will return to Valencia again on June 15, with 'Piramo e Tisbe', by Johann Adolph Hasse, a jewel of gallant lyric and an excellent opportunity to escort one of the greatest dives of the genre, the mezzo-soprano Vivica Genaux. Les Arts will present the unfortunate story of the lovers Pyramus and Thisbe in a concert-spectacle version at the Auditori.
