Arts is Education
- Recommended for ages 4 and up, the Aracaladanza company premieres this imaginative and captivating show in major Spanish theaters.
- In addition to the educational performances, Les Arts has scheduled a showing for families on Saturday, January 18 at 12:00 pm.
Valencia (14.01.25). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía presents 'Va de Bach', a project by the Aracaladanza company together with the Teatro Real del Retiro, which combines dance, imagination and the music of the brilliant composer in a show for the whole family that will be performed at the Teatre Martín i Soler from January 16 to 18.
'Va de Bach' is based on an idea by Enrique Cabrera, founder of the company, who, through a choreographic discourse guided by the music of Bach, immerses the viewer in the universe of one of the great geniuses in history, whose work "more than creative beauty, more than technical perfection, more than intellectual depth; it is spiritual purity and absolute imagination."
Five dancers, singing balloons, a surprising gorilla, and a giant hand are just some of the surprises that will ignite the imaginations of young and old alike, all to the rhythm of the Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Emotion and laughter intertwine in a theatrical dream that, as such, lacks a conventional plot or narrative structure, its sole purpose being to awaken the imagination.
Les Arts will offer two educational sessions of this production on January 16 and 17 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Additionally, on Saturday, January 18, the Teatre Martín i Soler will host a performance open to families, with tickets priced at €15 for adults and €12 for children. The show, which lasts approximately 55 minutes, is recommended for ages 4 and up.
