The Palau de les Arts has received visits from more than 2,000 students in the six educational performances it has programmed of 'Bastià i Bastiana', by Mozart.

Les Arts has represented the Martín i Soler theater with the casual production of Mozart's first opera by a student of more than 35 Primary and Secondary Education centers of the Valencian Community. It is drawn from the majority of the communities that have visited, along the Arts Volant road, different places in the territory thanks to the collaboration of the City Council and the Provincial Council of Valencia.

Furthermore, the arts center has programmed one more performance of 'Bastià i Bastiana', but intended for the family audience, which will also expand the capacity of the hall, which has limited all venues to the sale.

'Bastià i Bastiana' is a production of the Arts, based on the adaptation of the book to Valencia carried out by Enedina Lloris. Davide Livermore marks the stage of the play, with costumes by José María Adame and lighting by Antonio Castro, and piano accompaniment by Aïda Bousselma.

Artists from the Plácido Domingo Center's promoted series alternate the leading roles and the supporting roles in this new production: Moisés Marín, Vicent Romero, Annya Pinto, Giorgia Rotolo, David Cervera, Pau Armengol and Arturo Espinosa, in addition to the new creative character, Patró, performed by actor Sergio Gil.

The simple plot style, together with the duration, less than an hour, and the colorful and fresh stage adaptation, make 'Bastià i Bastiana' an effective educational eina for discovering the opera. The translation into Valencian, in addition to the expressions and current idioms, allows the students, to their turn, to get into the genre with more familiarity.
