The Palau de les Arts celebrates this Sunday, September 15, the twelfth edition of its Open Day, which marks the beginning of artistic activity in the theater.

Les Arts will be open that day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visitors will be able to freely and continuously explore the most emblematic spaces, such as the Main Hall, the Palm Tree Terraces, and the Balcony of the Sea, with views of the entire City of Arts and Sciences.

The route is only affected by the performances included in today's program. Visitors can also enjoy the cafeteria service during their visit to Les Arts, located on the 11th floor in the Los Toros area, from opening time.

The box offices will remain open that Sunday for all those who wish to purchase tickets for the titles at affordable prices: Mozart's opera 'Le nozze di Figaro' and Sorozábal's zarzuela 'La tabernera del puerto', in addition to the shows 'Les Arts és flamenco' and 'Les Arts és altres músiques'.

The artists from the new promotion of the Centre Plácido Domingo and the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV) complement the musical offering of the Open Day with a concert and two free recitals.

The Teatre Martín i Soler will host two recitals, at 12:00 and 17:00, showcasing the new generation of artists. They will perform arias from the great operatic repertoire as well as popular, traditional, and representative songs from their respective countries of origin.

British conductor Christopher Moulds will close the day at the Auditori, at 7:00 p.m., with a concert featuring the soloists from Mozart's 'Le nozze di Figaro' and the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana.

A leading expert in Baroque and Classical music, Moulds will conduct passages from the opera that opens the Les Arts season with the performers of this title: sopranos María José Moreno, Sabina Puértolas, Susana Cordón and Vittoriana De Amicis, mezzo-soprano Cecilia Molinari, tenor Joel Williams, baritone Andrzej Filočczyk, bass-baritone Robert Gleadow and basses Valeriano Lanchas and Felipe Bou.

Les Arts reminds those interested that it is essential to request a ticket to enjoy these performances. To this end, the cultural venue has established a schedule for online and in-person ticket distribution for subscribers and the general public.

The arts center reserves 30% of the seats for its subscribers at each performance: 444 tickets at the Auditori and 114 tickets for each performance at the Teatre Martín i Soler. Subscribers can request these tickets online on Wednesday, September 11, from 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM through the designated section on the theater's website. In-person requests will be accepted on Thursday, September 12, from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or until the allocated quota is exhausted.

The general public has access to 65% of the seats for each event: 962 tickets at the Auditori and 247 tickets per session at the Teatre Martín i Soler. 60% of the tickets for this group will be distributed through the website www.lesarts.com on Thursday, September 12, from 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM, or until they run out. The remaining 40% can be requested in person at the box office from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Friday, September 13, or until they run out.

Les Arts announces that a maximum of two invitations for the concert at the Auditori and two free tickets for each of the recital performances at the Teatre Martín i Soler will be allocated per applicant, whether in person or through the website.
