10.09.2019
The Palau de les Arts celebrates this day, September 15, the second edition of the second Open Day, which marks the beginning of artistic activity in the theater.
Les Arts romandrà will open this day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The public will be able to freely and uninterruptedly tour the most emblematic spaces, such as the Main Hall, the Terrasses de les Palmeres or the Balcó de la Mar, with a view of the entire City of Arts and Sciences.
The tour is only conditioned by the celebration of the different shows included in the offer of this day. Interested parties can also check out the cafeteria service during their stay at Les Arts on the 11th floor, in the Los Toros space, from the opening hour.
The box office opens on this date for all those who wish to acquire venues for the titles at popular prices: the opera 'Le nozze di Figaro', by Mozart, and the sarsuela 'La tabernera del Puerto', by Sorozábal, in addition to the shows of 'Les Arts és flamenc' and 'Les Arts és other music'.
The new artists promoted by the Plácido Domingo Center and the Valencian Community Orchestra (OCV) complement the musical offering of the Portes Obertes Day with a concert and two free recitals.
The Teatre Martín i Soler hosts two sessions, at 12:00 p.m. and at 5:00 p.m., of a recital that presents the new promotion of artists, in which they will perform both songs from the great opera repertoire and popular, traditional or representative songs from each of their countries of origin.
The British conductor Christopher Molds will close the day at the Auditori, at 7:00 p.m., with a concert of the soloists of 'Le nozze di Figaro', by Mozart, and the Valencian Community Orchestra.
A top expert in baroque and musical classicism, Molds will direct pages of the opera that inaugurates the Arts season with the performers of this title: the sopranos María José Moreno, Savina Puértolas, Susana Cordón i Vittoriana De Amicis Sopranos, the mezzo-soprano Cecilia Molinari, the tenor Joel Williams, the baritone Andrzej Filo?czyk, the bass-bariton Robert Gleadow and the basses Valeriano Lanchas and Felipe Bou.
