The EULEN Group and Obra Social «la Caixa» are sponsoring the activity of the Palau de les Arts 'Feel the music', which is hosted by the Aula Magistral from November 6 to 12, within the section of the program 'Les Arts és Educació'.

Both the EULEN Group and Obra Social «la Caixa» are among the sponsoring entities of Les Arts, in the category of collaborators, whose contribution is intended for the implementation of inclusive culture projects, such as those developed by the educational program of the arts center.

'Feel the Music' is an educational program for children aged 4 to 10. This activity is structured to promote the inclusion of children with special educational needs. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 'Sonata for Two Pianos in D Major, K. 448' is used as a tool to aid in sensory development and the integration process.

The choice of the work responds to the well-known Mozart effect, which has been the subject of numerous studies due to the action and positive impact on the cognitive abilities of the listener of the compositions of the genius from Salzburg.

The group, with a maximum of 30 participants per session, takes part from the same stage in each of the activities related to this musical genre. During the activity, various structured work challenges are presented, through which self-esteem and self-confidence are enhanced, both as a team and individually.

Likewise, 'Feel the music' allows students, in a cross-curricular way, to learn about the piano as an instrument of the string family, as well as its nature, timbre and registers.

The activity is always assisted by a special education monitor, Candela Baixauli, who structures the parts of the sonata performed by pianists Judit Kertész and Antonio Galera.

'Les Arts és Educació' is offering three family-friendly performances on November 9th and 10th. Tickets, priced at 7 euros per person, can be purchased at the box office or on the theater's website.
