Primary students discover in the Arts the work of the Cor de la Generalitat in 'Tots a Cor'

Primary students participate this Tuesday, February 4, in a new edition of the activity 'Tots a Cor', including in the didactic program of the Palau de les Arts, 'Les Arts és Educació'.

The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Valencian Institute of Culture, allows the students to understand the functioning and structure of the Choir of the Generalitat Valenciana, one of the artistic pillars on which the Arts programming is built, in one of the second work sessions at the opera center.

Organized into small groups, students will also have the opportunity to connect with each other in greater detail in the possibilities and uses of human vision as a main musical instrument, as well as the role of this group in an opera house. The session is complemented by the interpretation of several musical choral fragments of works from the 2019-2020 season.

Furthermore, the arts center, also in cooperation with the IVC, has opened the registration rules for the first choral conducting workshop offered by the Plácido Domingo Perfection Center in its new opening to new artistic disciplines.

Francesc Perales, director of the Choir of the Generalitat Valenciana, will give from March 23 to 27 the 'Opera Choral Conducting Workshop', which will include, in addition, the participation of the Choir of the Generalitat.

The workshop is aimed at graduates of choir or orchestra conducting, conducting students of any of these disciplines, or people who are planning to guide their studies and/or the professional background in musical conducting.
