18.06.2020
Valencia (18.06.20). The Generalitat's Department of Culture, in collaboration with Les Arts, has organized a comprehensive musical program of symphonic and chamber concerts by the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana and recitals by the Centre de Perfeccionament, which includes a tour of 23 towns throughout the Valencian territory during the months of June, July and September, under the title 'Les Arts amb tu'.
In addition, the opera 'El tutor burlat' by 'Les Arts Volant' will be programmed in the 5 municipalities that have held the title of Valencian Cultural Capital: Gandia, Sagunto, Potries, Villafranca del Cid and Altea.
According to Minister Vicent Marzà: “We are bringing Les Arts closer to our towns and cities with 28 outstanding musical offerings. This project, part of the 'reaCtivem' initiative, is the result of the magnificent work carried out by the Les Arts team, and especially by its artistic director, Jesús Iglesias Noriega.” He added: “This is a proposal that is here to stay, as it reflects Les Arts' commitment to expanding its programming beyond the institution's own building, ensuring that its activities reach a wider audience.”
“At this time of returning to cultural activity and reconnecting with the public, Les Arts’ outreach work is even more essential. It’s important for audiences to return to the theater, but even more so to bring back the experience of live music after months of confinement. That’s why, with this tour, we are making our artistic excellence available to them, wherever they may be,” explained artistic director Jesús Iglesias Noriega.
