València (01.12.20) The Palau de les Arts is in the world of fado, for the first time since its inauguration, by the charismatic Mariza , who here, December 4, at 9:00 p.m. at the Auditori, inaugurates the cycle 'Les Arts és Altres Musiques'.

Through the beautiful overture to our audiences and sounds, Arts explores the magical melancholy of fado with Mariza, current icon par excellence of Portuguese music as the greatest ambassador of this genre, elevated to the category of senyal d'identitat of Portuguese culture.

For her debut in the Arts, Mariza celebrates her 20th year of prolific career with a tribute to Amália Rodrigues, the legendary fadista who would complete 100 years in 2020 and the arrival of the one who stars in Mariza's latest album release.

After a set of studio work and three live albums, this is the first time that Mariza dedicates a complete album to Amália's repertoire, of whom, according to the specialized press, she is considered the most legitimate seua hereva, and the porter of the concert.

In the seua performance at the Arts, the Portuguese diva proposes her themes, with the arranjaments of Jaques Morelenbaum, which allow her to discover our subjects and recreate them as they have only been escorted, among these 'Com que voz', 'Estranha forma de vida' or 'Povo que lavas no rio'.

The prices of the venues for the performance of Mariza a les Arts range between 34 and 50 euros. For more information, interested parties can consult: www.lesarts.com
