- The performer of 'Anthology of heterodox flamenco singing' closes the second edition of this cycle with his revolutionary art
- Les Arts reminds everyone that only 5% of the capacity is available, which the law reserves for sale on the day of the show.
Valencia (06.05.21). The Palau de les Arts closes the 'Les Arts és flamenco' cycle this Friday, May 7, with a performance by Francisco Contreras Molina, artistically known as Niño de Elche. He makes his debut at the Palau de les Arts with tickets sold out for days, except for 5% of the capacity which, as stipulated by regional law, is reserved for sale on the day of the show.
The revolutionary and multifaceted artist closes the second edition of this monograph dedicated to flamenco singing in its multiple visions, with which some of the most outstanding voices of the genre such as José Mercé, Duquende, La Macanita and Argentina have paraded through Les Arts throughout the current season.
A multidisciplinary artist, Niño de Elche has managed to combine in his varied artistic proposals disciplines such as flamenco, rock, contemporary music and dance, performance, sound installation, free improvisation, theatre or poetry.
During his visit to Les Arts, the singer from Elche presents 'Anthology of Heterodox Flamenco Singing' (Sony, 2018), a compendium of 27 pieces that reinvent the different styles: fandangos, farrucas, tanguillos, malagueñas, rumbas, saetas… through the artist's particular prism, which was a musical shock to the flamenco community.
Les Arts informs that, for sold-out performances with 5% exclusive pre-sale tickets, online sales will end when the Les Arts Box Office opens, which this Friday will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Tickets are priced at a single rate of 30 euros.
