Valencia (10.10.21). Riccardo Minasi, one of the most promising conductors on the current European scene, makes his debut with the Valencian Community Orchestra (OCV) this October in Valencia and Castelló.

The current head of the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra will conduct the main line-up of Arts, accompanied by the prestigious soprano Julia Kleiter, on the 16th at the Auditori de les Arts (7:00 p.m.) and, finally, at the Auditori of the capital of La Plana (7:30 p.m.).

Co-founder and director of the ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro from 2012 to 2015, Minasi has established himself as one of the most talented batons in Europe, both with orchestras of reference on the continent: Concertgebouw d'Amsterdam, Staatskapelle de Dresden, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester i Konzerthaus de Berlin or the symphonies of the Bavarian, Swedish and Frankfurt radio stations.

For the second presentation by the Valencian public, the Roman director proposes a suggestive program that evokes the affinity for Italy and all that is Italian in the compositions of various authors who will develop the second race to Vienna.

In the faristol, Minasi proposes works like 'Scena di Berenice', by Haydn, and 'Ah! perfido!', by Beethoven, inspired by verses by the Italian poet - later settled in Vienna - Pietro Metastasio, which they shared with the performance of the German soprano Julia Kleiter, one of the most popular performers of the German repertoire today.

L'OCV will also perform 'Overture in Italian Style, D 591', in which Schubert expresses his deep admiration for Rossini's Italian opera. For the second part of the concert, Riccardo Minasi conducts 'Aus Italien', which is considered the first symphonic poem to be composed by a young Richard Strauss, just 22 years old, after a trip to the Transalpine country.
